चातुर्वेदे च यत पुण्यं सत्यवादिषु चैव यत सनात एव तदाप्नॊति गङ्गा यमुन संगमे ॥ ३-८३-८० ॥

'Bathing in the confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna grants the merit associated with the four kinds of knowledge, as well as the merits of those who are truthful.' ॥ 3-83-80 ॥

english translation

cAturvede ca yata puNyaM satyavAdiSu caiva yata sanAta eva tadApnòti gaGgA yamuna saMgame ॥ 3-83-80 ॥
