तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वाणः पितृदेवार्चने रतः अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति गतिं च परमां वरजेत ॥ ३-८३-५६ ॥
'He who bathes there and worships the gods and the Pitris obtains the merit of the Ashvamedha sacrifice and attains an exalted state.' ॥ 3-83-56 ॥
