कुशप्लवनम आसाद्य बरह्म चारी समाहितः तरिरात्रम उषितः सनात्वा अश्वमेध फलं लभेत ॥ ३-८३-३३ ॥
'Upon arriving at Kusaplavana, one who, with a subdued spirit and living a Brahmacharya lifestyle, stays there for three nights and bathes, attains the merit of the horse sacrifice.' ॥ 3-83-33 ॥
