अभिषेककृतस तत्र नियतॊ नियताशनः गवामयस्य यज्ञस्य फलं पराप्नॊति भारत पुनात्य आ सप्तमं चैव कुलं भरतसत्तम ॥ ३-८२-५६ ॥
'By bathing in its waters, while maintaining self-discipline and regulated meals, one earns the merit of the cow sacrifice and sanctifies his lineage for seven generations, both upward and downward, O best of the Bharatas.' ॥ 3-82-56 ॥
