सप्त गङ्गे तरिगङ्गे च शक्रावर्ते च तर्पयन देवान पितॄंश च विधिवत पुण्यलॊके महीयते ॥ ३-८२-२५ ॥
'By residing there for just one night, one attains the merit of donating a thousand kine. Offering water oblations to the gods and the Pitris at Saptaganga, Triganga, and Sakravarta, one becomes revered in the realm of the virtuous.' ॥ 3-82-25 ॥
