शिखरं वै महादेव्या गौर्यास तरैलॊक्यविश्रुतम समारुह्य नरः शराद्धः सतनकुण्डेषु संविशेत ॥ ३-८२-१३१ ॥
'The devout man who ascends the peak of Mahadevi Gauri, Famous throughout the three worlds, Should then immerse himself in the Stanakunda.' ॥ 3-82-131 ॥
english translation
zikharaM vai mahAdevyA gauryAsa tarailòkyavizrutama samAruhya naraH zarAddhaH satanakuNDeSu saMvizeta ॥ 3-82-131 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्राभिषेकं कुर्वाणः पितृदेवार्चने रतः हयमेधम अवाप्नॊति शक्र लॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८२-१३२ ॥
'By bathing in that tirtha and worshipping the gods and ancestors, one attains the merit of the horse-sacrifice and ascends to the realm of Indra.' ॥ 3-82-132 ॥
english translation
tatrAbhiSekaM kurvANaH pitRdevArcane rataH hayamedhama avApnòti zakra lòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-82-132 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptताम्रारुणं समासाद्य बरह्म चारी समाहितः अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति शक्र लॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८२-१३३ ॥
'A devoted celibate (brahmachari), upon reaching Tamraruna, Obtains the merit of (performing) the Ashvamedha sacrifice, And attains Shakra's realm (Indra's heaven).' ॥ 3-82-133 ॥

tAmrAruNaM samAsAdya barahma cArI samAhitaH azvamedhama avApnòti zakra lòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-82-133 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनन्दिन्यां च समासाद्य कूपं तरिदशसेवितम नरमेधस्य यत पुण्यं तत पराप्नॊति कुरूद्वह ॥ ३-८२-१३४ ॥
'And upon reaching the well at Nandini, Revered by the thirty (gods), One obtains the merit of the Naramedha sacrifice, O leader of the Kurus.' ॥ 3-82-134 ॥

nandinyAM ca samAsAdya kUpaM taridazasevitama naramedhasya yata puNyaM tata parApnòti kurUdvaha ॥ 3-82-134 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकालिका संगमे सनात्वा कौशिक्यारुणयॊर यतः तरिरात्रॊपॊषितॊ विद्वान सर्वपापैः परमुच्यते ॥ ३-८२-१३५ ॥
'Afterward, by bathing at the confluence of the Kirtika, Kausiki, and Aruna rivers, and fasting there for three nights, a learned man is purified of all his sins.' ॥ 3-82-135 ॥

kAlikA saMgame sanAtvA kauzikyAruNayòra yataH tarirAtròpòSitò vidvAna sarvapApaiH paramucyate ॥ 3-82-135 ॥
