ततॊ गच्छेन नरश्रेष्ठ सॊमतीर्थम अनुत्तमम तत्र सनात्वा नरॊ राजन सॊमलॊकम अवाप्नुयात ।। ३-८१-९६ ।।

'Next, O best of men, one should journey to the esteemed tirtha known as Soma. Bathing there, O king, one attains the celestial realm of Soma.' ।। 3-81-96 ।।

tatò gacchena narazreSTha sòmatIrthama anuttamama tatra sanAtvA narò rAjana sòmalòkama avApnuyAta || 3-81-96 ||

सप्त सारस्वतं तीर्थं ततॊ गच्छेन नराधिप यत्र मङ्कणकः सिद्धॊ महर्षिर लॊकविश्रुतः ।। ३-८१-९७ ।।

'Next, O king, one should journey to the tirtha known as Saptasaraswata, where the renowned sage Mankanaka attained his remarkable ascetic success.' ।। 3-81-97 ।।

sapta sArasvataM tIrthaM tatò gacchena narAdhipa yatra maGkaNakaH siddhò maharSira lòkavizrutaH || 3-81-97 ||

पुरा मङ्कणकॊ राजन कुशाग्रेणेति नः शरुतम कषतः किल करे राजंस तस्य शाकरसॊ ऽसरवत ।। ३-८१-९८ ।।

sanskrit

'O king, it is said that in ancient times, Mankanaka, having wounded his hand with the sharp blade of Kusa grass, bled a sap-like juice instead of blood.' ।। 3-81-98 ।।

purA maGkaNakò rAjana kuzAgreNeti naH zarutama kaSataH kila kare rAjaMsa tasya zAkarasò 'saravata || 3-81-98 ||

स वै शाकरसं दृष्ट्वा हर्षाविष्टॊ महातपाः परनृत्तः किल विप्रर्षिर विस्मयॊत्फुल्ललॊचनः ।। ३-८१-९९ ।।

'Upon seeing the sap-like liquid flow from his wound, the Rishi began to dance, his eyes wide with astonishment.' ।। 3-81-99 ।।

sa vai zAkarasaM dRSTvA harSAviSTò mahAtapAH paranRttaH kila viprarSira vismayòtphullalòcanaH || 3-81-99 ||

ततस तस्मिन परनृत्ते वै सथावरं जङ्गमं च यत परनृत्तम उभयं वीर तेजसा तस्य मॊहितम ।। ३-८१-१०० ।।

'And as the Rishi danced, all the mobile and immobile creatures, enchanted by his extraordinary prowess, joined him in a harmonious dance.' ।। 3-81-100 ।।

tatasa tasmina paranRtte vai sathAvaraM jaGgamaM ca yata paranRttama ubhayaM vIra tejasA tasya mòhitama || 3-81-100 ||
