गत्वा हि शरद्धया युक्तः कुरुक्षेत्रं कुरूद्वह राजसूयाश्वमेधाभ्यां फलं पराप्नॊति मानवः ॥ ३-८१-६ ॥

'O son of the Kuru lineage, by going to Kurukshetra with a pious heart, one attains the rewards of the Rajasuya and Ashvamedha sacrifices.' ॥ 3-81-6 ॥

gatvA hi zaraddhayA yuktaH kurukSetraM kurUdvaha rAjasUyAzvamedhAbhyAM phalaM parApnòti mAnavaH ॥ 3-81-6 ॥

ततॊ मचक्रुकं राजन दवारपालं महाबलम यक्षं समभिवाद्यैव गॊसहस्रफलं लभेत ॥ ३-८१-७ ॥

'By respectfully saluting the mighty Yaksha named Mankanaka, the gatekeeper of Kuvera, one attains the rewards of donating a thousand cows.' ॥ 3-81-7 ॥

tatò macakrukaM rAjana davArapAlaM mahAbalama yakSaM samabhivAdyaiva gòsahasraphalaM labheta ॥ 3-81-7 ॥

ततॊ गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ विष्णॊर सथानम अनुत्तमम सततं नाम राजेन्द्र यत्र संनिहितॊ हरिः ॥ ३-८१-८ ॥

'O virtuous king, one should next journey to the exalted realm of Vishnu, where Hari is eternally present.' ॥ 3-81-8 ॥

tatò gaccheta dharmajJa viSNòra sathAnama anuttamama satataM nAma rAjendra yatra saMnihitò hariH ॥ 3-81-8 ॥

तत्र सनात्वार्चयित्वा च तरिलॊकप्रभवं हरिम अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति विष्णुलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८१-९ ॥

'By bathing there and bowing down to Hari, the Creator of the three worlds, one attains the rewards of the horse sacrifice and ultimately reaches the abode of Vishnu.' ॥ 3-81-9 ॥

tatra sanAtvArcayitvA ca tarilòkaprabhavaM harima azvamedhama avApnòti viSNulòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-81-9 ॥

ततः पारिप्लवं गच्छेत तीर्थं तरैलॊक्यविश्रुतम अग्निष्टॊमातिरात्राभ्यां फलं पराप्नॊति मानवः ॥ ३-८१-१० ॥

'Next, one should journey to Pariplava, that sacred tirtha celebrated throughout the three worlds. By bathing there, O Bharata, one attains merit greater than that gained from the Agnishtoma and Atiratra sacrifices.' ॥ 3-81-10 ॥
