हरदेष्व एतेषु यः सनात्वा पितॄन संतर्पयिष्यति पितरस तस्य वै परीता दास्यन्ति भुवि दुर्लभम ईप्सितं मनसः कामं सवर्गलॊकं च शाश्वतम ॥ ३-८१-३१ ॥
'And if one bathes in these lakes and offers the water as oblations to the Pitris, they, pleased with him, will grant his desires, which are hard to fulfill in this world, along with eternal residence in heaven.' ॥ 3-81-31 ॥
english translation
haradeSva eteSu yaH sanAtvA pitRRna saMtarpayiSyati pitarasa tasya vai parItA dAsyanti bhuvi durlabhama IpsitaM manasaH kAmaM savargalòkaM ca zAzvatama ॥ 3-81-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं दत्त्वा वरान राजन रामस्य पितरस तदा आमन्त्र्य भार्गवं परीतास तत्रैवान्तर दधुस तदा ॥ ३-८१-३२ ॥
'O king, after bestowing these boons, the Pitris joyfully paid their respects to Rama of the Bhrigu lineage and then vanished from sight.' ॥ 3-81-32 ॥
english translation
evaM dattvA varAna rAjana rAmasya pitarasa tadA Amantrya bhArgavaM parItAsa tatraivAntara dadhusa tadA ॥ 3-81-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं रामह्रदाः पुण्या भार्गवस्य महात्मनाः सनात्वा हरदेषु रामस्य बरह्म चारी शुभव्रतः रामम अभ्यर्च्य राजेन्द्र लभेद बहुसुवर्णकम ॥ ३-८१-३३ ॥
'Thus, the lakes of the illustrious Rama became sacred. By leading a life of Brahmacharya and adhering to sacred vows, one should bathe in the lakes of Rama. By immersing oneself in these waters and worshiping Rama, one, O king, acquires the merit of bestowing abundant gold.' ॥ 3-81-33 ॥

evaM rAmahradAH puNyA bhArgavasya mahAtmanAH sanAtvA haradeSu rAmasya barahma cArI zubhavrataH rAmama abhyarcya rAjendra labheda bahusuvarNakama ॥ 3-81-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवंशमूलकम आसाद्य तीर्थसेवी कुरूद्वह सववंशम उद्धरेद राजन सनात्वा वै वंशमूलके ॥ ३-८१-३४ ॥
'Next, O son of the Kuru race, by proceeding to Vansamulaka, a pilgrim who bathes there elevates his entire lineage, O king.' ॥ 3-81-34 ॥

vaMzamUlakama AsAdya tIrthasevI kurUdvaha savavaMzama uddhareda rAjana sanAtvA vai vaMzamUlake ॥ 3-81-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकायशॊधनम आसाद्य तीर्थं भरतसत्तम शरीरशुद्धिः सनातस्य तस्मिंस तीर्थे न संशयः शुद्धदेहश च संयाति शुभाँल लॊकान अनुत्तमान ॥ ३-८१-३५ ॥
'O best of the Bharatas, upon reaching the tirtha known as Kayasodhana and bathing there, one undoubtedly purifies his body and, with this purified form, proceeds to the blessed realm of unparalleled excellence.' ॥ 3-81-35 ॥

kAyazòdhanama AsAdya tIrthaM bharatasattama zarIrazuddhiH sanAtasya tasmiMsa tIrthe na saMzayaH zuddhadehaza ca saMyAti zubhA~la lòkAna anuttamAna ॥ 3-81-35 ॥
