तस्मिंस तीर्थे नरः सनात्वा पूजयित्वा विभावसुम आदित्यलॊकं वरजति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत ॥ ३-८१-१६१ ॥

'In that tirtha, after bathing and worshiping the radiant one, a person attains the realm of Aditya and uplifts their own lineage.' ।। 3-81-161 ।।

english translation

tasmiMsa tIrthe naraH sanAtvA pUjayitvA vibhAvasuma AdityalòkaM varajati kulaM caiva samuddhareta ॥ 3-81-161 ॥

सॊमतीर्थे नरः सनात्वा तीर्थसेवी कुरूद्वह सॊमलॊकम अवाप्नॊति नरॊ नास्त्य अत्र संशयः ॥ ३-८१-१६२ ॥

'O best of the Kuru race, a person who bathes in the Somatirtha attains the realm of Soma, and there is no doubt about this.' ।। 3-81-162 ।।

sòmatIrthe naraH sanAtvA tIrthasevI kurUdvaha sòmalòkama avApnòti narò nAstya atra saMzayaH ॥ 3-81-162 ॥

ततॊ गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ दधीचस्य महात्मनाः तीर्थं पुण्यतमं राजन पावनं लॊकविश्रुतम ॥ ३-८१-१६३ ॥

'Next, O virtuous one, one should journey to the most sacred tirtha of the illustrious Dadhicha, a sanctifying site renowned throughout the world.' ।। 3-81-163 ।।

tatò gaccheta dharmajJa dadhIcasya mahAtmanAH tIrthaM puNyatamaM rAjana pAvanaM lòkavizrutama ॥ 3-81-163 ॥

यत्र सारस्वतॊ राजन सॊ ऽङगिरास तपसॊ निधिः तस्मिंस तीर्थे नरः सनात्वा वाजपेयफलं लभेत सारस्वतीं गतिं चैव लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ३-८१-१६४ ॥

'It is here that Angiras, the ocean of ascetic austerities from the Saraswata lineage, was born. By bathing in this tirtha, one attains the merit of the horse sacrifice and, without a doubt, gains a place in the realm of Saraswati.' ।। 3-81-164 ।।

yatra sArasvatò rAjana sò 'GagirAsa tapasò nidhiH tasmiMsa tIrthe naraH sanAtvA vAjapeyaphalaM labheta sArasvatIM gatiM caiva labhate nAtra saMzayaH ॥ 3-81-164 ॥

ततः कन्याश्रमं गच्छेन नियतॊ बरह्मचर्यवान तरिरात्रॊपॊषितॊ राजन्न उपवासपरायणः लभेत कन्याशतं दिव्यं बरह्मलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८१-१६५ ॥

'With senses under control and practicing the Brahmacharya mode of life, one should next proceed to Kanyashrama. By residing there for three nights, O king, while maintaining a disciplined diet, one attains a hundred celestial damsels and ultimately reaches the abode of Brahma.' ।। 3-81-165 ।।

tataH kanyAzramaM gacchena niyatò barahmacaryavAna tarirAtròpòSitò rAjanna upavAsaparAyaNaH labheta kanyAzataM divyaM barahmalòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-81-165 ॥
