यत्र सारस्वतॊ राजन सॊ ऽङगिरास तपसॊ निधिः तस्मिंस तीर्थे नरः सनात्वा वाजपेयफलं लभेत सारस्वतीं गतिं चैव लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ३-८१-१६४ ॥
'It is here that Angiras, the ocean of ascetic austerities from the Saraswata lineage, was born. By bathing in this tirtha, one attains the merit of the horse sacrifice and, without a doubt, gains a place in the realm of Saraswati.' ॥ 3-81-164 ॥
