बरह्मयॊनिं समासाद्य शुचिः परयत मानसः तत्र सनात्वा नरव्याघ्र बरह्मलॊकं परपद्यते पुनात्य आ सप्तमं चैव कुलं नास्त्य अत्र संशयः ॥ ३-८१-१२१ ॥
'Next, with a pure body and a controlled mind, one should proceed to Brahmayoni. By bathing there, O tiger among men, one attains the abode of Brahma and undoubtedly sanctifies one's entire lineage for seven generations, both ascending and descending.' ॥ 3-81-121 ॥
english translation
barahmayòniM samAsAdya zuciH parayata mAnasaH tatra sanAtvA naravyAghra barahmalòkaM parapadyate punAtya A saptamaM caiva kulaM nAstya atra saMzayaH ॥ 3-81-121 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र तीर्थं तरैलॊक्यविश्रुतम पृथूदकम इति खयातं कार्तिकेयस्य वै नृप तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वीत पितृदेवार्चने रतः ॥ ३-८१-१२२ ॥
'Next, O king, one should proceed to the celebrated tirtha of the three worlds, known as Prithudaka, associated with Kartikeya. There, one should bathe and dedicate oneself to the worship of the Pitris and the gods.' ॥ 3-81-122 ॥
english translation
tatò gaccheta rAjendra tIrthaM tarailòkyavizrutama pRthUdakama iti khayAtaM kArtikeyasya vai nRpa tatrAbhiSekaM kurvIta pitRdevArcane rataH ॥ 3-81-122 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअज्ञानाज जञानतॊ वापि सत्रिया वा पुरुषेण वा यत किं चिद अशुभं कर्मकृतं मानुषबुद्धिना ॥ ३-८१-१२३ ॥
'Any evil committed, whether knowingly or unknowingly, by man or woman, driven by human motives, is completely washed away, O Bharata, by bathing in this sacred tirtha.' ॥ 3-81-123 ॥
english translation
ajJAnAja jaJAnatò vApi satriyA vA puruSeNa vA yata kiM cida azubhaM karmakRtaM mAnuSabuddhinA ॥ 3-81-123 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत सर्वं नश्यते तस्य सनातमात्रस्य भारत अश्वमेध फलं चापि सवर्गलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८१-१२४ ॥
'By bathing there, one also gains the merit of the horse-sacrifice and attains the heavenly realms.' ॥ 3-81-124 ॥

tata sarvaM nazyate tasya sanAtamAtrasya bhArata azvamedha phalaM cApi savargalòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-81-124 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुण्यम आहुः कुरुक्षेत्रं कुरुक्षेत्रात सरस्वतीम सरस्वत्याश च तीर्थानि तीर्थेभ्यश च पृथूदकम ॥ ३-८१-१२५ ॥
'The wise declare that Kurukshetra is sacred; even holier than Kurukshetra is the Saraswati; holier than the Saraswati are all the tirthas combined, and above all these tirthas stands Prithudaka in holiness.' ॥ 3-81-125 ॥

puNyama AhuH kurukSetraM kurukSetrAta sarasvatIma sarasvatyAza ca tIrthAni tIrthebhyaza ca pRthUdakama ॥ 3-81-125 ॥
