जित्वा यत्र महाप्राज्ञ विष्णुना परभ विष्णुना पुरा शौचं कृतं राजन हत्वा दैवतकण्टकान ॥ ३-८०-९१ ॥
'O you of great wisdom, Vishnu, the creator of the universe, went there to purify himself after vanquishing the Daityas and Danavas.' ॥ 3-80-91 ॥
english translation
jitvA yatra mahAprAjJa viSNunA parabha viSNunA purA zaucaM kRtaM rAjana hatvA daivatakaNTakAna ॥ 3-80-91 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ वसॊर धाराम अभिष्टुताम गमनाद एव तस्यां हि हयमेधम अवाप्नुयात ॥ ३-८०-९२ ॥
'O virtuous one, next one should proceed to the revered Vasudhara, worshipped by all. Upon arriving at that tirtha, one attains the merit of the horse sacrifice.' ॥ 3-80-92 ॥
english translation
tatò gaccheta dharmajJa vasòra dhArAma abhiSTutAma gamanAda eva tasyAM hi hayamedhama avApnuyAta ॥ 3-80-92 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसनात्वा कुरु वरश्रेष्ठ परयतात्मा तु मानवः तर्प्य देवान पितॄंश चैव विष्णुलॊके महीयते ॥ ३-८०-९३ ॥
'And, O best of the Kurus, by bathing there with a subdued mind and focused attention, and by offering libations of water to the gods and the Pitris, one ascends to the realm of Vishnu and is honored there.' ॥ 3-80-93 ॥
english translation
sanAtvA kuru varazreSTha parayatAtmA tu mAnavaH tarpya devAna pitRRMza caiva viSNulòke mahIyate ॥ 3-80-93 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थं चात्र परं पुण्यं वसूनां भरतर्षभ तत्र सनात्वा च पीत्वा च वसूनां संमतॊ भवेत ॥ ३-८०-९४ ॥
'In that tirtha, O bull among the Bharatas, there exists a sacred lake of the Vasus. By bathing there and drinking its waters, one becomes esteemed by the Vasus.' ॥ 3-80-94 ॥

tIrthaM cAtra paraM puNyaM vasUnAM bharatarSabha tatra sanAtvA ca pItvA ca vasUnAM saMmatò bhaveta ॥ 3-80-94 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसिन्धूत्तमम इति खयातं सर्वपापप्रणाशनम तत्र सनात्वा नरश्रेष्ठ लभेद बहुसुवर्णकम ॥ ३-८०-९५ ॥
'There is a renowned tirtha called Sindhuttama, which eradicates all sins. O best of men, by bathing there, one attains the merit of abundant gold.' ॥ 3-80-95 ॥

sindhUttamama iti khayAtaM sarvapApapraNAzanama tatra sanAtvA narazreSTha labheda bahusuvarNakama ॥ 3-80-95 ॥
