सनात्वा कुरु वरश्रेष्ठ परयतात्मा तु मानवः तर्प्य देवान पितॄंश चैव विष्णुलॊके महीयते ॥ ३-८०-९३ ॥

sanskrit

'And, O best of the Kurus, by bathing there with a subdued mind and focused attention, and by offering libations of water to the gods and the Pitris, one ascends to the realm of Vishnu and is honored there.' ॥ 3-80-93 ॥

english translation

sanAtvA kuru varazreSTha parayatAtmA tu mAnavaH tarpya devAna pitRRMza caiva viSNulòke mahIyate ॥ 3-80-93 ॥
