तर्पयित्वा पितॄन देवान ऋषींश च भरतर्षभ पराप्नॊति वारुणं लॊकं दीप्यमानः सवतेजसा ॥ ३-८०-८६ ॥
'By bathing there and offering libations of water to the Pitris, the Rishis, and the gods, one attains the realm of Varuna and shines in their own radiant glory, O bull among the Bharatas.' ॥ 3-80-86 ॥
english translation
शङ्कुकर्णेश्वरं देवम अर्चयित्वा युधिष्ठिर अश्वमेधं दशगुणं परवदन्ति मनीषिणः ॥ ३-८०-८७ ॥
'Wise individuals say that by worshipping the deity known as Śaṅkukarneśvara, one attains merit equivalent to ten Ashvamedha sacrifices.' ॥ 3-80-87 ॥

परदक्षिणम उपावृत्य गच्छेत भरतर्षभ तीर्थं कुरु वरश्रेष्ठ तरिषु लॊकेषु विश्रुतम दृमीति नाम्ना विख्यातं सर्वपापप्रमॊचनम ॥ ३-८०-८८ ॥
'O bull among the Bharatas, after circumambulating that tirtha, you should proceed to the renowned tirtha known as Drimi, celebrated throughout the three worlds, O foremost of the Kurus.' ॥ 3-80-88 ॥
english translation
यत्र बरह्मादयॊ देवा उपासन्ते महेश्वरम तत्र सनात्वार्चयित्वा च रुद्रं देवगणैर वृतम जन्मप्रभृति पापानि कृतानि नुदते नरः ॥ ३-८०-८९ ॥
'That tirtha purifies one from all sins, and it is there that the gods, including Brahma, worship Maheshvara. By bathing there and offering worship to Rudra, surrounded by the other deities, one is liberated from all sins accumulated since birth.' ॥ 3-80-89 ॥
english translation
दृमी चात्र नरश्रेष्ठ सर्वदेवैर अभिष्टुता तत्र सनात्वा नरव्याघ्र हयमेधम अवाप्नुयात ॥ ३-८०-९० ॥
'It is there, O best of men, that Drimi was worshipped by all the gods. By bathing there, one attains the merit of the horse sacrifice, O foremost among men.' ॥ 3-80-90 ॥
