नर्मदाम अथ चासाद्य नदीं तरैलॊक्यविश्रुताम तर्पयित्वा पितॄन देवान अग्निष्टॊम फलं लभेत ॥ ३-८०-७१ ॥

'Upon arriving at the revered Narmada, known throughout the three worlds, and offering water oblations to the Pitris and the gods, one attains the rewards of a horse sacrifice.' ॥ 3-80-71 ॥

english translation

narmadAma atha cAsAdya nadIM tarailòkyavizrutAma tarpayitvA pitRRna devAna agniSTòma phalaM labheta ॥ 3-80-71 ॥
