नृलॊके देवदेवस्य तीर्थं तरैलॊक्यविश्रुतम पुष्करं नाम विख्यातं महाभागः समाविशेत ॥ ३-८०-४१ ॥
'In the world of men, there is a tirtha of the God of gods, celebrated across the three worlds by the name of Pushkara. One who sojourns there becomes equal to that deity.' ॥ 3-80-41 ॥
english translation
nRlòke devadevasya tIrthaM tarailòkyavizrutama puSkaraM nAma vikhyAtaM mahAbhAgaH samAvizeta ॥ 3-80-41 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदशकॊटिसहस्राणि तीर्थानां वै महीपते सांनिध्यं पुष्करे येषां तरिसंध्यं कुरुनन्दन ॥ ३-८०-४२ ॥
'O high-souled son of the Kuru race, during the two twilights and midday, the presence of hundreds of millions of tirthas can be found in Pushkara.' ॥ 3-80-42 ॥
english translation
dazakòTisahasrANi tIrthAnAM vai mahIpate sAMnidhyaM puSkare yeSAM tarisaMdhyaM kurunandana ॥ 3-80-42 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआदित्या वसवॊ रुद्राः साध्याश च स मरुद्गणाः गन्धर्वाप्सरसश चैव नित्यं संनिहिता विभॊ ॥ ३-८०-४३ ॥
'The Adityas, the Vasus, the Rudras, the Sadhyas, the Maruts, the Gandharvas, and the Apsaras are ever present, O exalted one, in Pushkara.' ॥ 3-80-43 ॥
english translation
AdityA vasavò rudrAH sAdhyAza ca sa marudgaNAH gandharvApsarasaza caiva nityaM saMnihitA vibhò ॥ 3-80-43 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयत्र देवास तपस तप्त्वा दैत्या बरह्मर्षयस तथा दिव्ययॊगा महाराज पुण्येन महतान्विताः ॥ ३-८०-४४ ॥
'It was there, O king, that the gods, the Daityas, and the Brahmarishis, having engaged in intense ascetic practices, attained great merit and ultimately achieved divinity.' ॥ 3-80-44 ॥
english translation
yatra devAsa tapasa taptvA daityA barahmarSayasa tathA divyayògA mahArAja puNyena mahatAnvitAH ॥ 3-80-44 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमनसाप्य अभिकामस्य पुष्कराणि मनस्विनः पूयन्ते सर्वपापानि नाकपृष्ठे च पूज्यते ॥ ३-८०-४५ ॥
'Men of self-control, by merely thinking of Pushkara, are purified of their sins and are esteemed in heaven.' ॥ 3-80-45 ॥

manasApya abhikAmasya puSkarANi manasvinaH pUyante sarvapApAni nAkapRSThe ca pUjyate ॥ 3-80-45 ॥
