परदक्षिणं यः पृथिवीं करॊत्य अमितविक्रम किं फलं तस्य विप्रर्षे तन मे बरूहि तपॊधन ।। ३-८०-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'O you who resemble a celestial being, what merit does one attain, O regenerated sage, by circumambulating the entire Earth while visiting shrines? Please, convey this to me with certainty' ।। 3-80-28 ।।

english translation

paradakSiNaM yaH pRthivIM karòtya amitavikrama kiM phalaM tasya viprarSe tana me barUhi tapòdhana || 3-80-28 ||
