सरस्वत्यां महाराज अनु संवत्सरं हि ते सनायन्ते भरतश्रेष्ठ वृत्तां वै कार्तिकीं सदा ॥ ३-८०-१२१ ॥
'O Bharata, vanish in the form of Shashas and reappear annually in the month of Karttika. There, O esteemed leader of the Bharata race, they bathe in the sacred Saraswati.' ॥ 3-80-121 ॥
english translation
sarasvatyAM mahArAja anu saMvatsaraM hi te sanAyante bharatazreSTha vRttAM vai kArtikIM sadA ॥ 3-80-121 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र सनात्वा नरव्याघ्र दयॊतते शशिवत सदा गॊसहस्रपलं चैव पराप्नुयाद भरतर्षभ ॥ ३-८०-१२२ ॥
'By bathing there, O tiger among men, one radiates like the Moon and, O bull of the Bharata race, acquires the merit of a thousand kine.' ॥ 3-80-122 ॥

tatra sanAtvA naravyAghra dayòtate zazivata sadA gòsahasrapalaM caiva parApnuyAda bharatarSabha ॥ 3-80-122 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकुमार कॊटिम आसाद्य नियतः कुरुनन्दन तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वीत पितृदेवार्चने रतः गवामयम अवाप्नॊति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत ॥ ३-८०-१२३ ॥
'Next, O descendant of the Kurus, one should journey to Kumarakoti with senses subdued. Bathing there, one ought to worship the gods and the Pitris. By performing these rites, one attains the merit of donating ten thousand kine and elevates all their ancestors to higher realms.' ॥ 3-80-123 ॥

kumAra kòTima AsAdya niyataH kurunandana tatrAbhiSekaM kurvIta pitRdevArcane rataH gavAmayama avApnòti kulaM caiva samuddhareta ॥ 3-80-123 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ रुद्र कॊटिं समाहितः पुरा यत्र महाराज ऋषिकॊटिः समाहिता परहर्षेण च संविष्टा देव दर्शनकाङ्क्षया ॥ ३-८०-१२४ ॥
'Then, O knower of dharma, one should go with concentration to Rudra Koti, Where in ancient times, O great king, ten million sages gathered, Seated with great joy, eager to see the divine.' ॥ 3-80-124 ॥

tatò gaccheta dharmajJa rudra kòTiM samAhitaH purA yatra mahArAja RSikòTiH samAhitA paraharSeNa ca saMviSTA deva darzanakAGkSayA ॥ 3-80-124 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअहं पूर्वम अहं पूर्वं दरक्ष्यामि वृषभध्वजम एवं संप्रस्थिता राजन्न ऋषयः किल भारत ॥ ३-८०-१२५ ॥
'Overcome with great joy at the prospect of beholding Mahadeva, the Rishis eagerly exclaimed, “I shall be the first to see the god! I shall be the first to see the god!”' ॥ 3-80-125 ॥

ahaM pUrvama ahaM pUrvaM darakSyAmi vRSabhadhvajama evaM saMprasthitA rAjanna RSayaH kila bhArata ॥ 3-80-125 ॥
