अहं पूर्वम अहं पूर्वं दरक्ष्यामि वृषभध्वजम एवं संप्रस्थिता राजन्न ऋषयः किल भारत ॥ ३-८०-१२५ ॥

'Overcome with great joy at the prospect of beholding Mahadeva, the Rishis eagerly exclaimed, “I shall be the first to see the god! I shall be the first to see the god!”' ॥ 3-80-125 ॥
