एवम उक्त्वा ददौ विद्याम ऋतुपर्णाय नैषधः स च तां परतिजग्राह विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा ॥ ३-७६-१७ ॥
'With these words, Nala transferred this knowledge to Rituparna, who received it with the proper rites.' ॥ 3-76-17 ॥

ततॊ गृह्याश्वहृदयं तदा भाङ्गस्वरिर नृपः सूतम अन्यम उपादाय ययौ सवपुरम एव हि ॥ ३-७६-१८ ॥
'And, O monarch, the royal son of Bhangasura, having learned the secrets of equestrian science and having given King Nala the mysteries of dice, returned to his own city, appointing another as his charioteer.' ॥ 3-76-18 ॥

ऋतुपर्णे परतिगते नलॊ राजा विशां पते नगरे कुण्डिने कालं नातिदीर्घम इवावसत ॥ ३-७६-१९ ॥
