कच चित तु नापराधं ते कृतवान अस्मि नैषध अज्ञातवासं वसतॊ मद्गृहे निषधाधिप ॥ ३-७६-११ ॥
'O Naishadha, while living in disguise at my home, I trust I did not wrong you in any way, O lord of the earth!' ॥ 3-76-11 ॥
english translation
यदि वा बुद्धिपूर्वाणि यद्य अबुद्धानि कानि चित मया कृतान्य अकार्याणि तानि मे कषन्तुम अर्हसि ॥ ३-७६-१२ ॥
'If I have knowingly wronged you in any way, it is fitting for you to forgive me.' ॥ 3-76-12 ॥
english translation
नल उवाच न मे ऽपराधं कृतवांस तवं सवल्पम अपि पार्थिव कृते ऽपि च न मे कॊपः कषन्तव्यं हि मया तव ॥ ३-७६-१३ ॥
'Hearing this, Nala replied, 'O monarch, you have not caused me even the slightest injury. And if you have, it has not stirred my anger, for you certainly deserve my forgiveness.'' ॥ 3-76-13 ॥

पूर्वं हय असि सखा मे ऽसि संबन्धी च नराधिप अत ऊर्ध्वं तु भूयस तवं परीतिम आहर्तुम अर्हसि ॥ ३-७६-१४ ॥
'You were once my friend, and, O ruler of men, you are also my relative. From now on, I shall find even greater delight in you.' ॥ 3-76-14 ॥

सर्वकामैः सुविहितः सुखम अस्म्य उषितस तवयि न तथा सवगृहे राजन यथा तव गृहे सदा ॥ ३-७६-१५ ॥
'O king, having fulfilled all my desires, I lived happily in your abode—indeed, more happily there than in my own home.' ॥ 3-76-15 ॥
