बृहदश्व उवाच स मासम उष्य कौन्तेय भीमम आमन्त्र्य नैषधः पुराद अल्पपरीवारॊ जगाम निषधान परति ॥ ३-७७-१ ॥
'O son of Kunti, the ruler of the Nishadhas, having resided there for a month, took his leave from the city with Bhima's permission, accompanied only by a few followers, and set out for the land of the Nishadhas.' ॥ 3-77-1 ॥
english translation
रथेनैकेन शुभ्रेण दन्तिभिः परिषॊडशैः पञ्चाशद्भिर हयैश चैव षट्शतैश च पदातिभिः ॥ ३-७७-२ ॥
'With a single white chariot, accompanied by sixteen elephants, fifty horses, and six hundred foot soldiers.' ॥ 3-77-2 ॥

स कम्पयन्न इव महीं तवरमाणॊ महीपतिः परविवेशातिसंरब्धस तरसैव महामनाः ॥ ३-७७-३ ॥
'That illustrious king, swelling with rage and causing the very earth to tremble, entered the land of the Nishadhas without delay.' ॥ 3-77-3 ॥
english translation
ततः पुष्करम आसाद्य वीरसेनसुतॊ नलः उवाच दीव्याव पुनर बहु वित्तं मयार्जितम ॥ ३-७७-४ ॥
'And the mighty son of Virasena, approaching Pushkara, said to him, 'Let us play again, for I have amassed great wealth.'' ॥ 3-77-4 ॥
english translation
दमयन्ती च यच चान्यन मया वसु समर्जितम एष वै मम संन्यासस तव राज्यं तु पुष्कर ॥ ३-७७-५ ॥
'Let Damayanti and all that I possess be my stake; let your kingdom, O Pushkara, be yours. Now, let the game begin anew.' ॥ 3-77-5 ॥
