पराणयात्रां परिप्रेप्सॊः शकुनैर हृतवाससः आधिभिर दह्यमानस्य शयामा न करॊद्धुम अर्हति ।। ३-७२-२७ ।।

sanskrit

'Deserted by one who has fallen into misfortune, bereft of sense and stripped of joy, it is unbecoming for her to harbor anger. A virtuous woman should not be wrathful toward one who, while striving to secure sustenance, has been robbed by birds of his garment and is consumed by sorrow.' ।। 3-72-27 ।।

english translation

parANayAtrAM pariprepsòH zakunaira hRtavAsasaH Adhibhira dahyamAnasya zayAmA na karòddhuma arhati || 3-72-27 ||
