वृक्षे ऽसमिन यानि पर्णानि फलान्य अपि च बाहुक पतितानि च यान्य अत्र तत्रैकम अधिकं शतम एकपत्राधिकं पत्रं फलम एकं च बाहुक ॥ ३-७०-९ ॥

'O Vahuka, I observe that the leaves and fruits of this tree lying on the ground exceed those still attached to it by precisely one hundred and one.' ॥ 3-70-9 ॥

english translation

vRkSe 'samina yAni parNAni phalAnya api ca bAhuka patitAni ca yAnya atra tatraikama adhikaM zatama ekapatrAdhikaM patraM phalama ekaM ca bAhuka ॥ 3-70-9 ॥
