तेजॊबलसमायुक्तान कुलशीलसमन्वितान वर्जिताँल लक्षणैर हीनैः पृथुप्रॊथान महाहनून शुद्धान दशभिर आवर्तैः सिन्धुजान वातरंहसः ।। ३-६९-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'These horses were lean yet strong, capable of enduring a long journey, endowed with energy and high breeding, gentle in nature, free from inauspicious marks, with wide nostrils and swelling cheeks. They possessed no faults regarding the ten hairy curls, hailed from the land of Sindhu, and were as swift as the winds.' ।। 3-69-12 ।।

tejòbalasamAyuktAna kulazIlasamanvitAna varjitA~la lakSaNaira hInaiH pRthupròthAna mahAhanUna zuddhAna dazabhira AvartaiH sindhujAna vAtaraMhasaH || 3-69-12 ||
