एवं बरुवाणान यदि वः परतिब्रूयाद धि कश चन स नरः सर्वथा जञेयः कश चासौ कव च वर्तते ॥ ३-६७-१६ ॥
'I have heard from you that kindness is the greatest virtue. If anyone responds to you in such a manner, he should certainly be identified, and you should ascertain who he is and where he resides.' ॥ 3-67-16 ॥
english translation
यच च वॊ वचनं शरुत्वा बरूयात परतिवचॊ नरः तद आदाय वचः कषिप्रं ममावेद्यं दविजॊत्तमाः ॥ ३-६७-१७ ॥
'And you, O foremost among the virtuous, bring me the words of anyone who, upon hearing your speech, may choose to respond.' ॥ 3-67-17 ॥
english translation
यथा च वॊ न जानीयाच चरतॊ भीमशासनात पुनरागमनं चैव तथा कार्यम अतन्द्रितैः ॥ ३-६७-१८ ॥
'Moreover, let it be known that one should not remain unaware of the return, as commanded by Bhimasena; thus, it should be executed without delay.' ॥ 3-67-18 ॥

यदि वासौ समृद्धः सयाद यदि वाप्य अधनॊ भवेत यदि वाप्य अर्थकामः सयाज जञेयम अस्य चिकीर्षितम ॥ ३-६७-१९ ॥
'Additionally, you should learn whether he is wealthy, poor, or lacking in power—indeed, gather all information about him.' ॥ 3-67-19 ॥

एवम उक्तास तव अगच्छंस ते बराह्मणाः सर्वतॊदिशम नलं मृगयितुं राजंस तथा वयसनिनं तदा ॥ ३-६७-२० ॥
'Thus instructed by Damayanti, O king, the Brahmanas ventured forth in all directions to find Nala, who had fallen into such misfortune.' ॥ 3-67-20 ॥
