परस्थापयद राजमाता शरीमता नरवाहिना यानेन भरतश्रेष्ठ सवन्नपानपरिच्छदाम ॥ ३-६६-२१ ॥
'O chief of the Bharatas, she sent Damayanti in a splendid palanquin carried by men, accompanied by a large escort, and supplied with fine food, drink, and garments of the highest quality. Before long, she arrived in the land of Vidarbha.' ॥ 3-66-21 ॥

parasthApayada rAjamAtA zarImatA naravAhinA yAnena bharatazreSTha savannapAnaparicchadAma ॥ 3-66-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः सा नचिराद एव विदर्भान अगमच छुभा तां तु बन्धुजनः सर्वः परहृष्टः परत्यपूजयत ॥ ३-६६-२२ ॥
'Then, without delay, she reached the auspicious land of Vidarbha, where all her relatives joyfully received and honored her.' ॥ 3-66-22 ॥

tataH sA nacirAda eva vidarbhAna agamaca chubhA tAM tu bandhujanaH sarvaH parahRSTaH paratyapUjayata ॥ 3-66-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वान कुशलिनॊ दृष्ट्वा बान्धवान दारकौ च तौ मातरं पितरं चैव सर्वं चैव सखीजनम ॥ ३-६६-२३ ॥
'Upon seeing her relatives, her children, both her parents, and all her maids in good health, the illustrious Damayanti .' ॥ 3-66-23 ॥

sarvAna kuzalinò dRSTvA bAndhavAna dArakau ca tau mAtaraM pitaraM caiva sarvaM caiva sakhIjanama ॥ 3-66-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवताः पूजयाम आस बराह्मणांश च यशस्विनी विधिना परेण कल्याणी दमयन्ती विशां पते ॥ ३-६६-२४ ॥
'The illustrious Damayanti, following the prescribed rituals, worshipped the gods and the Brahmanas, O lord of the people, with great devotion.' ॥ 3-66-24 ॥

devatAH pUjayAma Asa barAhmaNAMza ca yazasvinI vidhinA pareNa kalyANI damayantI vizAM pate ॥ 3-66-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअतर्पयत सुदेवं च गॊसहस्रेण पार्थिवः परीतॊ दृष्ट्वैव तनयां गरामेण दरविणेन च ॥ ३-६६-२५ ॥
'The king, delighted to behold his daughter, bestowed upon Sudeva a thousand cows, along with abundant wealth and a village.' ॥ 3-66-25 ॥
