बाढम इत्य एव ताम उक्त्वा हृष्टा मातृष्वसा नृप गुप्तां बलेन महता पुत्रस्यानुमते ततः ॥ ३-६६-२० ॥
'At this, O king, Damayanti's maternal aunt, with a joyful heart, replied, 'So be it.' With her son's permission, the queen mother, O chief of the Bharatas, sent Damayanti in an elegant palanquin carried by men.' ॥ 3-66-20 ॥
