पिप्लुं दृष्ट्वा सुनन्दा च राजमाता च भारत रुदन्त्यौ तां परिष्वज्य मुहूर्तम इव तस्थतुः उत्सृज्य बाष्पं शनकै राजमातेदम अब्रवीत ।। ३-६६-११ ।।

sanskrit

'Upon seeing that mole, O Bharata, Sunanda and the queen mother began to weep. Embracing Damayanti, they stood in silence for a moment. As the queen mother shed tears, she spoke softly in gentle tones.' ।। 3-66-11 ।।

english translation

pipluM dRSTvA sunandA ca rAjamAtA ca bhArata rudantyau tAM pariSvajya muhUrtama iva tasthatuH utsRjya bASpaM zanakai rAjamAtedama abravIta || 3-66-11 ||
