मानुषीं मां विजानीत यूयं सर्वे तपॊधनाः विस्तरेणाभिधास्यामि तन मे शृणुत सर्वशः ॥ ३-६१-७१ ॥
'O Rishis of great ascetic merit, recognize that I am a human being. I shall share my story in detail, so please listen.' ॥ 3-61-71 ॥

विदर्भेषु महीपालॊ भीमॊ नाम महाद्युतिः तस्य मां तनयां सर्वे जानीत दविजसत्तमाः ॥ ३-६१-७२ ॥
'There is a king, the mighty ruler of Vidarbha, named Bhima. O esteemed ones, I am his daughter.' ॥ 3-61-72 ॥
english translation
निषधाधिपतिर धीमान नलॊ नाम महायशाः वीरः संग्रामजिद विद्वान मम भर्ता विशां पतिः ॥ ३-६१-७३ ॥
'My husband is Nala, the wise and renowned king of the Nishadhas—heroic, ever victorious in battle, and learned.' ॥ 3-61-73 ॥

देवताभ्यर्चनपरॊ दविजातिजनवत्सलः गॊप्ता निषधवंशस्य महाभागॊ महाद्युतिः ॥ ३-६१-७४ ॥
'My husband, Nala, is devoted to the worship of the gods and shows great respect for the twice-born. He is the protector of the Nishadha lineage, endowed with immense energy and strength.' ॥ 3-61-74 ॥

सत्यवाग धर्मवित पराज्ञः सत्यसंधॊ ऽरिमर्दनः बरह्मण्यॊ दैवतपरः शरीमान परपुरंजयः ॥ ३-६१-७५ ॥
'Truthful and knowledgeable in all duties, he is steadfast in his promises and a formidable foe to his enemies.' ॥ 3-61-75 ॥
