नानाधातुशतैर नद्धान विविधान अपि चाचलान निकुञ्जान पक्षिसंघुष्टान दरीश चाद्भुतदर्शनाः नदीः सरांसि वापीश च विविधांश च मृगद्विजान ॥ ३-६१-६ ॥
'The princess of Vidarbha beheld many mountains rich in various ores, along with groves alive with the melodies of winged choirs. She admired the enchanting glens, numerous rivers, lakes, and tanks, teeming with diverse birds and animals.' ॥ 3-61-6 ॥

सा बहून भीमरूपांश च पिशाचॊरगराक्षसान पल्वलानि तडागानि गिरिकूटानि सर्वशः सरितः सागरांश चैव ददर्शाद्भुतदर्शनान ॥ ३-६१-७ ॥
'She saw many fearsome-looking pishachas (goblins), serpents, and rakshasas (demons), As well as ponds, lakes, mountain peaks everywhere, And rivers and oceans of wondrous appearance.' ॥ 3-61-7 ॥

यूथशॊ ददृशे चात्र विदर्भाधिपनन्दिनी महिषान वराहान गॊमायून ऋक्षवानरपन्नगान ॥ ३-६१-८ ॥
'The princess of Vidarbha beheld herds of buffaloes, along with wild boars, bears, and serpents of the wilderness.' ॥ 3-61-8 ॥

तेजसा यशसा सथित्या शरिया च परया युता वैदर्भी विचरत्य एका नलम अन्वेषती तदा ॥ ३-६१-९ ॥
'With her virtue, glory, good fortune, and patience as her guiding lights, Damayanti wandered through the woods alone, in search of Nala.' ॥ 3-61-9 ॥

नाबिभ्यत सा नृपसुता भैमी तत्राथ कस्य चित दारुणाम अटवीं पराप्य भर्तृव्यसनकर्शिता ॥ ३-६१-१० ॥
'The royal daughter of Bhima, distressed solely by her separation from her lord, felt no fear amidst the terrors of that daunting forest. O king, seated upon a stone, her heart heavy with grief and every limb trembling in sorrow for her husband, she began to lament:' ॥ 3-61-10 ॥
