'Afflicted by the god of love, the huntsman sought to soothe her with a captivating voice and tender words. Yet, as soon as the chaste and beautiful Damayanti recognized his intentions...' ।। 3-60-33 ।।

english translation

tAma atha zalakSNayA vAcA lubdhakò mRdupurvayA sAntvayAma Asa kAmArtasa tada abudhyata bhAminI || 3-60-33 ||
