तत्र सम पीना दृश्यन्ते बाहवः परिघॊपमाः आकारवन्तः सुश्लक्ष्णाः पञ्चशीर्षा इवॊरगाः ॥ ३-५४-६ ॥
'Their arms were strong and robust, resembling iron maces, elegantly shaped and smooth, akin to the graceful forms of five-headed serpents.' ॥ 3-54-6 ॥

tatra sama pInA dRzyante bAhavaH parighòpamAH AkAravantaH suzlakSNAH paJcazIrSA ivòragAH ॥ 3-54-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुकेशान्तानि चारूणि सुनासानि शुभानि च मुखानि राज्ञां शॊभन्ते नक्षत्राणि यथा दिवि ॥ ३-५४-७ ॥
'With their exquisite hair, elegant noses, and captivating eyes and brows, the countenances of the kings radiated like stars scattered across the night sky.' ॥ 3-54-7 ॥

sukezAntAni cArUNi sunAsAni zubhAni ca mukhAni rAjJAM zòbhante nakSatrANi yathA divi ॥ 3-54-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदमयन्ती ततॊ रङ्गं परविवेश शुभानना मुष्णन्ती परभया राज्ञां चक्षूंसि च मनांसि च ॥ ३-५४-८ ॥
'And when the moment arrived, Damayanti of radiant beauty entered the hall, her dazzling presence stealing the eyes and hearts of the assembled kings.' ॥ 3-54-8 ॥

damayantI tatò raGgaM paraviveza zubhAnanA muSNantI parabhayA rAjJAM cakSUMsi ca manAMsi ca ॥ 3-54-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्या गात्रेषु पतिता तेषां दृष्टिर महात्मनाम तत्र तत्रैव सक्ताभून न चचाल च पश्यताम ॥ ३-५४-९ ॥
'Their gazes, once fixed upon her, remained transfixed, lingering on the first part of her form that caught their sight, unmoving in admiration.' ॥ 3-54-9 ॥

tasyA gAtreSu patitA teSAM dRSTira mahAtmanAma tatra tatraiva saktAbhUna na cacAla ca pazyatAma ॥ 3-54-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः संकीर्त्यमानेषु राज्ञां नामसु भारत ददर्श भैमी पुरुषान पञ्च तुल्याकृतीन इव ॥ ३-५४-१० ॥
'And, O Bharata, when the names of the kings were proclaimed, Bhima's daughter beheld five individuals, each identical in appearance.' ॥ 3-54-10 ॥
