अमर्षितॊ हि कृष्णॊ ऽपि दृष्ट्वा पार्थांस तथागतान कृष्णाजिनॊत्तरासङ्गान अब्रवीच च युधिष्ठिरम ॥ ३-४८-१६ ॥
'Seeing the sons of Pritha dressed in deer skins, Krishna himself was filled with rage and addressed Yudhishthira.' ॥ 3-48-16 ॥
english translation
amarSitò hi kRSNò 'pi dRSTvA pArthAMsa tathAgatAna kRSNAjinòttarAsaGgAna abravIca ca yudhiSThirama ॥ 3-48-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptया सा समृद्धिः पार्थानाम इन्द्रप्रस्थे बभूव ह राजसूये मया दृष्टा नृपैर अन्यैः सुदुर्लभा ॥ ३-४८-१७ ॥
'That prosperity which the sons of Pritha attained in Indraprastha, and which is unattainable by other kings, I witnessed during the Rajasuya sacrifice.' ॥ 3-48-17 ॥

yA sA samRddhiH pArthAnAma indraprasthe babhUva ha rAjasUye mayA dRSTA nRpaira anyaiH sudurlabhA ॥ 3-48-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयत्र सर्वान महीपालाञ शस्त्रतेजॊ भयार्दितान सवङ्गाङ्गान सपौण्ड्र उड्रान सचॊल दरविडान्धकान ॥ ३-४८-१८ ॥
'Where all the kings, terrified by the power of weapons, Including those of Vanga, Anga, Paundraka, Udra, Chola, Dravida, and Andhaka,' ॥ 3-48-18 ॥

yatra sarvAna mahIpAlAJa zastratejò bhayArditAna savaGgAGgAna sapauNDra uDrAna sacòla daraviDAndhakAna ॥ 3-48-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसागरानूपगांश चैव ये च पत्तनवासिनः सिंहलान बर्बरान मलेच्छान ये च जाङ्गलवासिनः ॥ ३-४८-१९ ॥
'Along with those who dwell near the seas, the inhabitants of cities, the Singhalas, the Barbarians, the Mlechchhas, and those who live in the forests.' ॥ 3-48-19 ॥

sAgarAnUpagAMza caiva ye ca pattanavAsinaH siMhalAna barbarAna malecchAna ye ca jAGgalavAsinaH ॥ 3-48-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपश्चिमानि च राज्यानि शतशः सागरान्तिकान पह्लवान दरदान सर्वान किरातान यवनाञ शकान ॥ ३-४८-२० ॥
'And the western kingdoms by the sea, including hundreds of them, along with the Pahlavas, Dardas, Kiratas, Yavanas, and Shakas.' ॥ 3-48-20 ॥

pazcimAni ca rAjyAni zatazaH sAgarAntikAna pahlavAna daradAna sarvAna kirAtAna yavanAJa zakAna ॥ 3-48-20 ॥
