तथा तेषां वसतां काम्यके वै; विहीनानाम अर्जुनेनॊत्सुकानाम पञ्चैव वर्षाणि तदा वयतीयुर; अधीयतां जपतां जुह्वतां च ॥ ३-४७-१२ ॥
'The Pandavas lived for five years in the woods of Kamyaka, anxious over Arjuna's absence, and throughout that time, they devoted themselves to study, prayers, and sacrifices.' ॥ 3-47-12 ॥
