ततः शक्रॊ ऽबरवीत पार्थं कृतास्त्रं काल आगते नृत्तं गीतं च कौन्तेय चित्रसेनाद अवाप्नुहि ॥ ३-४५-६ ॥
'After some time, once Arjuna had acquired all the weapons, Indra addressed him, saying, "O son of Kunti, learn music and dance from Chitrasena."' ॥ 3-45-6 ॥
english translation
वादित्रं देव विहितं नृलॊके यन न विद्यते तद अर्जयस्व कौन्तेय शरेयॊ वै ते भविष्यति ॥ ३-४५-७ ॥
'Master the celestial instrumental music that does not exist in the realm of men, for it will greatly benefit you, O son of Kunti.' ॥ 3-45-7 ॥
english translation
सखायं परददौ चास्य चित्रसेनं पुरंदरः स तेन सह संगम्य रेमे पार्थॊ निरामयः ॥ ३-४५-८ ॥
'Purandara granted Chitrasena as a companion to Arjuna, and the son of Pritha lived happily and peacefully alongside him.' ॥ 3-45-8 ॥

कदा चिद अटमानस तु महर्षिर उत लॊमशः जगाम शक्र भवनं पुरंदर दिदृक्षया ॥ ३-४५-९ ॥
'Once, while wandering, the great sage Lomasha Went to Shakra's (Indra's) abode, desiring to see Purandara (Indra).' ॥ 3-45-9 ॥

स समेत्य नमस्कृत्य देवराजं महामुनिः ददर्शार्धासन गतं पाण्डवं वासवस्य ह ॥ ३-४५-१० ॥
'Having arrived and paid homage to the king of gods, The great sage saw the Pandava seated on half the throne of Vasava (Indra).' ॥ 3-45-10 ॥
