यन न शक्यं सुरैर दरष्टुम ऋषिभिर वा महात्मभिः तद आश्रमपदं पुण्यं बदरी नाम विश्रुतम ।। ३-४५-१९ ।।

sanskrit

'Those celebrated Rishis, known as Nara and Narayana, have taken birth on earth for a specific purpose: the pursuit of virtue. This sacred sanctuary, revered throughout the three worlds and known as Badari, is beyond the sight of even the gods and illustrious sages.' ।। 3-45-19 ।।

english translation

yana na zakyaM suraira daraSTuma RSibhira vA mahAtmabhiH tada AzramapadaM puNyaM badarI nAma vizrutama || 3-45-19 ||
