नातप्त तपसा शक्यॊ दरष्टुं नानाहिताग्निना स लॊकः पुण्यकर्तॄणां नापि युद्धपराङ्मुखैः ।। ३-४४-४ ।।

sanskrit

'This realm can be seen only by those who have undergone ascetic austerities or have offered libations to the fire. It is a sanctuary reserved for the virtuous, not for those who have forsaken the battlefield.' ।। 3-44-4 ।।

english translation

nAtapta tapasA zakyò daraSTuM nAnAhitAgninA sa lòkaH puNyakartRRNAM nApi yuddhaparAGmukhaiH || 3-44-4 ||
