ततः शुभं गिरिवरम ईश्वरस तदा; सहॊमया सिततट सानु कन्दरम विहाय तं पतगमहर्षिसेवितं; जगाम खं पुरुषवरस्य पश्यतः ॥ ३-४१-२६ ॥
'And the god of gods, departing from that blessed mountain adorned with snowy plateaus, valleys, and caves—beloved by the great Rishis who roam the skies—ascended into the heavens, accompanied by Uma, all in the sight of that foremost of men.' ॥ 3-41-26 ॥
