जहाराथ ततॊ जिष्णुः किरातम उरसा बली पाण्डवं च विचेष्टन्तं किरातॊ ऽपय अहनद बलात ।। ३-४०-४७ ।।

sanskrit

'The mighty Jishnu, clasping the Kirata, began to bear down on him with his chest. However, the strong Kirata pressed the insensible son of Pandu with overwhelming force.' ।। 3-40-47 ।।

english translation

jahArAtha tatò jiSNuH kirAtama urasA balI pANDavaM ca viceSTantaM kirAtò 'paya ahanada balAta || 3-40-47 ||
