ततस तौ तत्र संरब्धौ गर्जमानौ मुहुर मुहुः शरैर आशीविषाकारैस ततक्षाते परस्परम ।। ३-४०-२५ ।।

sanskrit

'Hearing the Kirata's words, Arjuna grew enraged and began to attack him with arrows. The Kirata, however, with a pleased heart, welcomed each shaft, taunting, 'Wretch, wretch, shoot your best arrows that can pierce the very vitals.' Provoked by this, Arjuna unleashed a torrent of arrows upon him. Both then, fueled by anger, engaged in a fierce battle, shooting showers of arrows at each other, each resembling a venomous serpent.' ।। 3-40-25 ।।

tatasa tau tatra saMrabdhau garjamAnau muhura muhuH zaraira AzIviSAkAraisa tatakSAte parasparama || 3-40-25 ||
