एवम उक्तः परत्युवाच सहस्राक्षं धनंजयः पराञ्जलिः परणतॊ भूत्वा शूरः कुलकुलॊद्वहः ।। ३-३८-३७ ।।

sanskrit

'Thus addressed, the perpetuator of the Kuru race, the valiant Dhananjaya, with his head bowed and hands joined, replied to him of a thousand eyes: "Blessed be thou, O Sakra! I seek the boon of the divine weapons which will aid me in my mission."' ।। 3-38-37 ।।

english translation

evama uktaH paratyuvAca sahasrAkSaM dhanaMjayaH parAJjaliH paraNatò bhUtvA zUraH kulakulòdvahaH || 3-38-37 ||
