एवम उक्तः परत्युवाच सहस्राक्षं धनंजयः पराञ्जलिः परणतॊ भूत्वा शूरः कुलकुलॊद्वहः ॥ ३-३८-३७ ॥
'Thus addressed, the perpetuator of the Kuru race, the valiant Dhananjaya, with his head bowed and hands joined, replied to him of a thousand eyes: "Blessed be thou, O Sakra! I seek the boon of the divine weapons which will aid me in my mission."' ॥ 3-38-37 ॥
