तत्र ते नयवसन राजन कं चित कालं मनस्विनः धनुर्वेद परा वीरा शृण्वाना वेदम उत्तमम ॥ ३-३७-४० ॥

'Endowed with great energy, O king, those heroes resided there for a time, dedicated to the practice of archery while continually listening to the recitation of the Vedas.' ॥ 3-37-40 ॥

english translation

tatra te nayavasana rAjana kaM cita kAlaM manasvinaH dhanurveda parA vIrA zRNvAnA vedama uttamama ॥ 3-37-40 ॥
