तस्माद धर्मार्थयॊर नित्यं न परमाद्यन्ति पण्डिताः परकृतिः सा हि कामस्य पावकस्यारणिर यथा ।। ३-३४-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'For these reasons, the wise are always diligent about both virtue and wealth, for the combination of virtue and wealth is essential for true pleasure, just as fuel is essential for fire.' ।। 3-34-28 ।।

english translation

tasmAda dharmArthayòra nityaM na paramAdyanti paNDitAH parakRtiH sA hi kAmasya pAvakasyAraNira yathA || 3-34-28 ||
