सर्वथा धर्ममूलॊ ऽरथॊ धर्मश चार्थपरिग्रहः इतरेतर यॊनी तौ विद्धि मेघॊदधी यथा ॥ ३-३४-२९ ॥
'Pleasure is always rooted in virtue, and virtue is closely connected with pleasure. Know, O monarch, that they are mutually dependent, like the ocean and the clouds, where the ocean gives rise to the clouds, and the clouds replenish the ocean.' ॥ 3-34-29 ॥
