यं तु धीरॊ ऽनववेक्षेत शरेयांसं बहुभिर गुणैः साम्नैवार्थं ततॊ लिप्सेत कर्म चास्मै परयॊजयेत ॥ ३-३३-५१ ॥

sanskrit

'When a wise person observes that their adversary excels in many qualities, they should pursue their objectives through the strategies of conciliation and the effective use of resources.' ॥ 3-33-51 ॥

english translation

yaM tu dhIrò 'navavekSeta zareyAMsaM bahubhira guNaiH sAmnaivArthaM tatò lipseta karma cAsmai parayòjayeta ॥ 3-33-51 ॥
