आरण्यकेभ्यॊ लौहानि भाजनानि परयच्छसि नादेयं बराह्मणेभ्यस ते गृहे किं चन विद्यते ॥ ३-३१-१२ ॥

sanskrit

'To the Vanaprasthas, you always give gold and food. In your house, there is nothing that you would hesitate to offer to the Brahmins.' ॥ 3-31-12 ॥

english translation

AraNyakebhyò lauhAni bhAjanAni parayacchasi nAdeyaM barAhmaNebhyasa te gRhe kiM cana vidyate ॥ 3-31-12 ॥
