यद इदं वैश्वदेवान्ते सायंप्रातः परदीयते तद दत्त्वातिथि भृत्येभ्यॊ राजञ शेषेण जीवसि ॥ ३-३१-१३ ॥

'In the Viswadeva sacrifice performed in your home for your well-being, the offerings are first given to guests and all beings, while you content yourself with what remains after these distributions.' ॥ 3-31-13 ॥

english translation

yada idaM vaizvadevAnte sAyaMprAtaH paradIyate tada dattvAtithi bhRtyebhyò rAjaJa zeSeNa jIvasi ॥ 3-31-13 ॥
