कषेत्रभूते ततस तस्मिन्न ओषधीर ओषधी पतिः दिवस तेजः समुद्धृत्य जनयाम आस वारिणा ।। ३-३-७ ।।

sanskrit

'Meanwhile, the lord of the vegetable world (the Moon), transformed the vapors of the Sun into clouds, which then released the water as rain, causing plants to sprout.' ।। 3-3-7 ।।

english translation

kaSetrabhUte tatasa tasminna oSadhIra oSadhI patiH divasa tejaH samuddhRtya janayAma Asa vAriNA || 3-3-7 ||
